FRI 13TH WON'T BE UNLUCKY FOR SOME AS SANIGAR EVENTS BRINGS WELSH WONDERS TO S4C
by Chris Evans

This Friday night on S4C, promises to be a night of action packed bouts, Welsh derbies and two Welsh titles on the line.
Sanigar Events have been the driving force behind bringing Welsh boxing to masses and creating exposure outside of Wales. Friday's small hall show is packed to the rafters with plenty of Welsh talent and budding prospects.
Kristian Touze vs Angelo Dragone
The Welsh Super Featherweight Title is on the line, giving this fight that extra bit of spice! Both undefeated and should definitely make this an interesting bout. Touze seems to be the slight favourite and this is seen as a big step up for Dragone, but both Angelo and his coach, Richie Garner are confident they can get the win.
This is a fight that both of these men have been shouting about for quite some time and after some back and forth, Welsh fight fans were very pleased when the fight was announced.
It has been a heated build up, both fighters wanting the bragging rights in West Wales.
Morgan Jones vs Jake Anthony
This is a fight that really intrigues me. Both fighters will be contesting for the vacant Welsh Super Middleweight Title and both are at completely different stages in their career
Jake Anthony is building a name for himself within the boxing scene, while Morgan Jones is pretty well known to boxing fans.
Anthony is currently unbeaten with a record of 6-0 and has cruised to a points victory in all 6 fights. Meanwhile, Jones is by far the more experienced boxer with a record of 12-2.
Jones was well on his way towards the direction of a British Title shot, however two defeats in a row has put him back a few fights.
The Undercard
The current Welsh Welterweight Champion Tony Dixon is on the undercard, looking to push on since his victory over rival Kieran Gething to secure the Welsh crown.
The undercard also sees Robbie Vernon from Tony Borgs’ St Josephs stable, currently at 3-0 with 2 KOs showcase his talents on S4C.
Jake Tinklin who trains out of Rocks Gym with former World Champion Gavin Rees, will see him enter his 4th fight as a professional.
Sion Yaxley will be stepping between the ropes for his 03rd professional fight. Yaxley trains out of Dyffryn ABC in Colwyn Bay.y does look exciting and is one to look out for.

There are two debutants on the card, both of which are very highly rated and I’ve heard a lot about both of these young lads. We will get to see the debuts of Joshua John and Jordan Withers referred to as the Welsh Canelo. Both fighters are also part of Tony Borgs’ stable.
