Verbeeten who made his pro debut 6 months ago stayed busy throughout the 4 round contest against the tough Devine who has only been stopped once.
Harry Armstrong vs Miloslav Pavek – Heavyweight - Making his debut, massive heavyweight Harry Armstrong made his debut against another giant in Miloslav Pavek.
Currently trained by Don Charles, Armstrong who took more punches on his debut than perhaps himself or his trainer would have liked still won every round on the scorecards against a tough but limited opponent in Pavek.

Denis Denikjaev vs Kris Pilkington – Super Lightweight - Young Lithuanian Denis Denikjaev competed in his first-ever 6 round contest and subsequently recorded the first stoppage of his career against Kris Pilkington who retired hurt at the end of the 4th round.
Terry Conroy vs Jordan Grannum – Middleweight - Terry Conroy looked comfortable as he went the distance in his against Jordan Grannum, being awarded a score of 60-55 in his favour.
Jack Owen vs Andy Bishop Super-Middleweight – Bishop had his fair share of success in the early stages of the fight. Scorecard of 40-36 was received with surprise from some of the York Hall faithful.
Daniel Mendes vs Dmitrij Kalinovskij – Cruiserweight – Former Southern Area champ Mendes made his first appearance of 2020 against the experienced Kalinovskij.
Throughout the fight, Mendes mainly used his jab to keep the Lithuanian at range whilst Kalinovskij perhaps focused more on not getting hit himself rather than the opposite.
In what would have been a first for many of those in attendance, the fight was halted at the end of the 3rd round due to a car blocking the ambulances outside the venue.
However, once the hold-up was complete, the fight resumed and so did more of the same inside the ring, resulting in a lop-sided decision in Mendes’ favour.
Kola Koyejo vs Darryl Sharp – Light Heavyweight - Kola rocked in the 1stby a game Darryl Sharp who was clearly looking to upset the young boxer’s undefeated record as well as quieten the hundred odd fans who were in attendance to support Koyejo.
However, once the young Light-Heavyweight had established his rhythm class prevailed as the Londoner sailed to a points victory.
Amar Kayani vs Teodor Boyadzhiev – Reception of the night came to Kayani who was also making his 2nd pro appearance. Rallied on by fans who had waited patiently for his bout.
Scoring a heavy knockdown in the 2nd round, Kayani finished the job in the 4thand final round, leaving the audience in raptures.
